Fun, friendly coffee workshops for people who really love coffee. Join us as we dive into the world of coffee and learn how to savor, brew and create the very best tasting coffee. No experience required just a simple love of coffee.
We also offer Private Workshop Events for Groups. Inquire at the Shop.

"World of Coffee" Tasting the finest coffee from Central America
Participants will learn the skills of tasting and evaluating the many flavors in coffee and will use a professional tasting sheet
to score each coffee from aroma to body and beyond.

"Your Perfect Cup" - Blending to your Profile
Participants will create, name and package their
very own brand of coffee.

Cupping Events
These are really fun hands on events where participants will discover all aspects of the coffee. From roast color to aroma and taste.
Be prepared to slurp some coffee and sharpen your tasting skills. You will never experience coffee the same way again. Workshop is limited to a maximum of (6)Six Participants.
Brewing to Perfection
Espresso ? Drip? Pour Over? Moka Pot? French Press? - which is your style? Not sure? Your are in the right place with this hands on workshop.
Together we will help you discover different methods of brewing and how to get the most balanced cup from your brewer. Workshop is limited to a maximum of (6) Six Participants.
Build Your Own Coffee
Light Roast or Dark?
Sumatra vs Costa Rica. Robusta or Arabica? Full Body ? Low acidity or high?
This is a hands on workshop where each participant will create a custom blend of coffee to match his or her taste profile and preferred brewing method.
You will create a custom coffee bag, give your new creation a name and professionally package it to take home to show off and share with friends. Workshop is limited to (6) six Participants.

We are dedicated to curating exceptional coffee experiences through our simple yet refined coffee service as well as our engaging coffee education events . Immerse yourself in the world of coffee as we unveil the extraordinary profiles of each bean, inviting you to savor every sip with a newfound appreciation.
Founders Tom & Holly Griffin are coffee enthusiasts of the highest order. Both are members of the Specialty Coffee Association and have traveled extensively in pursuit of finding that perfect cup. Tom & Holly are always excited to bring back some of the great coffee they have discovered on their travels and to share new and interesting developments from the world of coffee. They bring the world of coffee to life through their coffee workshops as well as pop up coffee events where they take the opportunity to serve some of the most exceptional coffees from around the world. For the past three years they have been serving coffee at The Whistling Whale Coffee Bar in Camden. They will be turning over the reigns to the shop that they worked so hard to build in late August of 2025. A new shop owner will take over and we anticipate they will continue the tradition of excellence that has been the hallmark of the Whistling Whale Coffee Bar since 2023.
