JUNE WORKSHOPS
Sunday June 22nd 2-3:30pm
"World of Coffee" Tasting the finest coffee from Africa
Participants will learn the skills of tasting and evaluating the many flavors in coffee and will use a professional tasting sheet
to score each coffee from aroma to body and beyond.
Thursday June 26th 2-3:30pm
"Your Perfect Cup" - Blending to your Profile
Participants will create, name and package their
very own brand of coffee.

Cupping Events
These are really fun hands on events where participants will discover all aspects of the coffee. From roast color to aroma and taste.
Be prepared to slurp some coffee and sharpen your tasting skills. You will never experience coffee the same way again. Workshop is limited to a maximum of (6)Six Participants.
Brewing to Perfection
Espresso ? Drip? Pour Over? Moka Pot? French Press? - which is your style? Not sure? Your are in the right place with this hands on workshop.
Together we will help you discover different methods of brewing and how to get the most balanced cup from your brewer. Workshop is limited to a maximum of (6) Six Participants.
Build Your Own Coffee
Light Roast or Dark?
Sumatra vs Costa Rica. Robusta or Arabica? Full Body ? Low acidity or high?
This is a hands on workshop where each participant will create a custom blend of coffee to match his or her taste profile and preferred brewing method.
You will create a custom coffee bag, give your new creation a name and professionally package it to take home to show off and share with friends. Workshop is limited to (6) six Participants.

Owners Tom & Holly Griffin are coffee enthusiasts of the highest order. Both are members of the Specialty Coffee Association and have traveled extensively in pursuit of finding that perfect cup. While the Whistling Whale is just a small seasonal coffee shop, it provides an opportunity for Tom & Holly to bring back some of the great coffee they have discovered on thier travels and to share new and interesting developments from the world of coffee.
